I'm a newbie to the torrent scene! Need a little help with registering this one...This file downloaded clean! D1 and D2. D1 Installation was clean too...Run the app, GUI comes up asking run or register the product?, select run program it runs fine; select register and Large white screen appears with 2 circles. The crack folder has a keygen.rar file , which i ran while register product GUI is open?? run the keygen program box appears asking for request code? where is my request code? any help over this hump would be appreciated...v32827
The activation doesnt seem to work, i can get a valid code, but when i run max it says 'verifying liscense' and it decides that the liscense is invalid and wont load, sends me back to the liscensing screen, tried offline too, once it happend the first time it refuses to load
Has ANY ONE !! got it running activated in VISTA 64 bit?? i have both 32 and 64 bit os, it worked perfect on 32 bit, but in 64 bit it dosent activate!! says activation error!! if you got it running on 64 bit ! please tell me what u did!!! ahhh!:D am going nuts here. :(

Went into msconfig and disabled the licesing service from autodesk
Restarted again
Opened the program and went into the registration part

Hey guys, everyones probably tired of ppl and their problems ... but Ive got this bad one where anything i try and unrar or install (off an actual dvd or an .ISO) has corrupted files. I force recheck all my torrents and close everything before i unrar them so Im completly lost as to why its happening...
For max I get a no cd drive error when I click the setup icon.. or when deamon mounts it. There werent any corrupted files during the extraction either.
Any help would be apreaciated.

I say SHOULD, I was checking some of these files against an almost identical set. Its possable that the uploader has corrupted RARs, but I would have thought Bittorrent would pick up on those.
unless he downloaded from the link above, files got corrupted after download, he made a torrnt to upload here, so the torrent would see them as all correct. i dont know. i just offer this as a possible solution.

wtf, i've got these r00, r01, e02... files. and the last one is a rar file.. PLEASE HELP ! !! there is no iso file !!!!
Does anyone have a working SN? I have the same problem as szor3n - activation fails with the SN's proved from this torrent.
Just follow carefully the Installation instructions. Do not block anything with firewall, 3ds won't run then. All works fine with absolutely no complaints.
hi any help? complete newbie and numpty! I've downloaded the files but cant suss out what to do next. I've got a nfo file and DVD1 folder with r1-29 files a rar & a sfv file - in DVD2 theres r00 - 33 a rar & a sfv. No crack folders! Is this right? Am I missing summit or am i a complete nugget! cheers
You need Winrar to unpack the .r00 - r29 files, download Winrar here http://www.rarlab.com/

thx for this torrent, i got it to work without any prob.
If the dvd is corrupt, right click your torrent, and click "force recheck" (its only available when the torrent is stopped)
To extract the iso just run the .rar archive of each dvd folder. Then just follow the instructions on the torrent description.

WHEN i GENERATE A CODE, Only half the groups show up? that is 32 letters or and numbers? anyone with a spare code please
it works..all you have to do is follow the instructions which came on Autodesk3dsMax2008_DVD_D1.iso after you extract it (WinRAR) and mount it to ISO.
Heres what i did
1.Installed the program
2.Started the program
3. clicked activate
4.Copied the Request Code into the keygen
5.Copied the key made by the key into the correct spot
6.Copied 666-20082008 into the correct spot
7.Then click Activate (or next,don't have the screen in front of me)
8.Your done now start the program

GraveDigger, the big companies are always posting fake posts in order to try to infect a computer with programs that prevent you from running the program on your computer. You just have to be careful, otherwise you will spend a lot of time clearing the registry. I can't blame them for trying to protect their property, at the same time, I'm not using it for commercial purposes, so I don't have an ethical problem with using it.

says i need auto cab to install. so i dl autocab 2008 and when it gets to installing about half way threw it asks to insert disk. any way around the auto cab thing??

I want to say something that may indeed help you for a bit. You will notice that when you try to open the program, it will say "your license has expired" It seems like there isn't a way around this.
The keygen I could not find in the torrent, but i found it elsewhere. All of the codes you need for the XF Keygen DO NOT WORK. I have tried over and over again to fix it. Then, I had a CRAZY idea, What if i were to double click the clock in the bottom right hand corner, and where it shows the year, set the year to 2007. would it work?
YOU BET IT DID! But you only have 30 days........ I just found it out today, I do not know as of now if the days tick down, and if it expires if you can set the clock back or the days back and it won't read it. Everything seems to work, it loaded up for me fine once I did this. I just need to see now what will happen!

Don't believe me, try it out, it is pretty crazy. After switching the date from april 13th 2009 to 2007, playing around with the program, closing it, then going to 2009, then going to 2007 to try to open the program, it still works! :) Now I just have to see if the days start ticking down, and if this refreshes it.
After you are done with the program, close it out, then set your time clock BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS. If you do not, you will not be able to access websites such as myspace and the like. All you need for this to work is inside DVD1 image.To fix the "product license expired"error, change date to October 2007 and apply included crack. Later you can update date.
Same problem with me here also saying license expire but i will try to do the same thing what the guys mention above and see what happens... i m using 64bit Win7 OS... lets what happens..
